The single bed in my room was archaic, springs digging in awkwardly, leading to a rough night's sleep and lingering back pain. The family room's view was limited to a car park, lacking any charm. A suggestion for hallway lights being on a sensor could save energy and enhance the experience, as having them on all night feels excessive.

We had a proper top-notch stay! Eric was a gem, helping with recommendations and serving a brekkie that was a tasty treat! The spot was spotlessly clean, comfy, and close to town. Just wish the wifi was a bit stronger, yeah?

the whole experience was enjoyable, no reason to complain, strongly recommend. everything at this petite hotel was perfect as we expected. the location was absolutely perfect, at a moderate distance from orkney wireless museum. moreover, it's close to kirkwall, the island and the orkney. great-sized room and the bed was comfy. the staff was really helpful and always on disposal.

Had a really great time at royal oak guesthouse! The host, eric, was suuuper friendly and helped us with all sorts of tips for the area. Breakfast was delish with lots of options, especially loved the haggis! The kitchen and lounge area had amazing views and was perfect. The place was super clean and comfy. Parking was easy peasy.
